Sam's Place is almost completely run by volunteers. Here are some ways that you can get involved:
Work at Sam's Place during business hours
Meet new people, have fun, and contribute to a worthy cause! Every day we need volunteers to take orders, serve coffee, greet customers, run the till, and wash dishes. Meeting customers and building relationships with other volunteers can be rewarding and a whole lot of fun.
Taking one shift per week is typical, but volunteers can work as much or as little as they choose.

Run sound for musical acts
Musicians who play at Sam's often need help with sound reenforcement . If you've ever touched a mixing board, or even if you haven't and are interested in learning, we'd like to have you involved! Training is available. Contact music@samsplacebooks.com
