Film Night at Sam’s Place, usually held at 7:00 on the second Monday of the month, will start its new season in a fresh venue. Films will now be shown on a large plasma screen in a room above Sam’s. The room can accommodate up to 40 people. Drinks and snacks purchased at Sam’s can be brought upstairs to enjoy while you watch the film. As usual, film screenings will be followed by 30 minutes of discussion (for those who wish to stay), facilitated by Vic Thiessen, film writer for the Canadian Mennonite and a member of the Sam’s advisory committee. Admission is free.
